Body Shop Technician – Wigan – Competitive salary

Are you a skilled panel beater / spray painter with a keen eye for detail and a passion for restoring vehicles to top condition? We’re looking for a dedicated professional to join our team and play a key role in bringing vehicles back to life after an accident.

About Us:

DCS Automotive are a specialist automotive bodyshop and dealership specialist. Dedicated to producing bespoke and custom pickups for private and corporate customers and maintaining our white van fleet. Our modern, purpose-built facility offers excellent working conditions and state-of-the-art equipment. We are seeking a skilled Paint Sprayer/Panel Beater to join our small, dynamic team.

What you’ll be doing:

Restoring vehicle bodywork and frames to manufacturer standards Assessing damage and planning effective repairs Preparing surfaces and applying high-quality paint finishes Prioritising repairs and reworks efficiently Collaborating in a fast-paced, supportive workshop environment Mentoring and supporting apprentices as they develop their skills

What you’ll need:

Proven experience in panel beating and spray painting NVQ Level 1, 2 & 3 or ATA qualified Welding certification (preferred but not essential) Strong teamwork, communication, and organisational skills

What we offer:

Location: Wigan

Salary: Competitive + overtime paid at time and a half

Hours: Mon-Thurs: 7:30 AM-4:30 PM | Fri: 7:30 AM-4:00 PM (40 hours per week)
