Job summary

Kwik Fit is seeking a Technical Trainer Grade 1 for our Reading Training Academy. You will deliver technical training programmes to new apprentices and existing staff, ensuring professional and consistent delivery in line with company policies. The role includes travel to other UK sites as required by the business.

Key duties include preparing assessments, maintaining equipment, and contributing to training material development while promoting CPD and learner engagement.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to act as training ambassador.
• Commercially focused with strong technical and customer service content.
• Team player able to work with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
• Highly organised with time management and confidentiality.
• Strong English and maths skills.
• Full UK Cat B Driving Licence essential.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Technical Training programmes at the Reading Training Academy.
• Ensure professional, consistent delivery aligned with policy and guidelines.
• Prepare and mark examinations, assessments and course documentation.
• Maintain training equipment and aids to high standards.
• Contribute to programme development and keep materials up to date.
• Engage learners and promote continuous improvement and CPD.
