Job summary

Tata Technologies is recruiting for a Project Engineer – Switches & Controls to be based at our customer’s site in Bicester. The role focuses on the design, development and validation of interior switch components for automotive applications within an ASPICE-aligned Embedded Systems Solutions framework.

The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage DVP and DFMEA activities, and mentor junior engineers while aligning with regulatory automotive standards and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Automotive Engineering.
• Experience designing automotive interior switch systems for OEMs or Tier-1 suppliers.
• Strong knowledge of DVP and DFMEA methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and validate interior switch components for automotive applications.
• Collaborate with design, electrical, software, and quality teams to delivering innovative switch solutions.
• Lead validation activities, including DVP planning and DFMEA processes.
• Guide junior engineers and ensure adherence to best practices and standards.
• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery and issue resolution.
