Job summary

Eastern Western Motor Group in Scotland is seeking an Automotive Technician to perform routine maintenance and complex repairs, ensuring safety and compliance with industry regulations while delivering outstanding customer service.

You will diagnose faults using modern tools, source and fit replacement parts, document all services and Vehicle Health Check reports, and collaborate with colleagues to maintain high quality and efficiency in our busy workshop.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in routine maintenance and diagnostics.
• Ability to interpret repair manuals and safety regs.
• Experience with parts ordering and inventory control.
• Accurate documentation of services and repairs.
• Commitment to quality, safety, and environmental compliance.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and complex repairs on engines, transmissions, and electrical systems.
• Conduct vehicle inspections and use diagnostic tools to identify issues.
• Recommend and install replacement parts ensuring proper fit and function.
• Complete job cards and Vehicle Health Check (VHC) reports accurately.
• Maintain high standards of quality, safety, and productivity.
