Job summary

Porsche Cars GB is offering a Placement Year opportunity for an Undergraduate student to support the Public Relations team in Reading. You will gain hands-on experience managing media requests, assisting with press car bookings, coordinating internal news, and helping with events and press materials.

Qualifications

• Studying PR, Marketing, English Language or a Communications related undergraduate degree.
• Social media literacy and MS Office familiarity.
• Highly proficient in both spoken and written English.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Handle and respond to basic media enquiries and requests.
• Collate, review and archive media coverage.
• Be responsible for updating internal press coverage and internal news.
• Assist with press car booking requests and documenting required media information.
• Compile relevant press information for each press car booking.
• Monitor central press inbox daily.
• Work on special PR projects as required.
• Provide assistance at media launches and events.
• Assist with research and content for Porsche press releases.
• Offer proactive and creative ideas to enhance the PR programme.
• Assist with purchase order and invoice processes.
• Opportunity to support PR team at Goodwood Festival of Speed in July for orientation.
