Job summary

Nexperia Manchester is seeking an Automotive Application Engineer to help OEMs and Tier suppliers evaluate and adopt next-generation power semiconductors. You’ll work with R&D teams on product evaluation, proof-of-concept, design-in, and hands-on benchmarking in automotive applications, with opportunities for international travel.

Qualifications

Essential: Degree in Electronics Engineering, Power Electronics, Physics or related field.
Hands-on engineering mindset with willingness to travel internationally for customer engagement.
Experience with power semiconductor devices and customer-facing engineering.
Ability to discuss technical ideas clearly with customers and internal teams.

Responsibilities

Interface between customers and product development to evaluate and adopt power semiconductor tech.
Support customer projects from evaluation through design-in and debugging.
Develop demos, simulations and application notes for automotive applications.
Participate in international customer visits and workshops.
