Job summary

EURO COMMERCIALS LIMITED in Exeter invites applicants to join its Parts Apprentice program, combining practical on‑the‑job training with college study. You will learn to assist the parts team, manage stock, and support the workshop with accurate paperwork, under the guidance of the Parts Manager.

The program emphasises completing the recognised apprenticeship qualification, attending block release college, and developing the skills to eventually handle back-counter parts sales and trade team

Qualifications

• Attend and complete the apprenticeship training to gain the relevant qualification.
• Promote the sales of Manufacturers’ parts.
• Complete comprehensive practical training within the dealership.

Responsibilities

• Assist parts personnel in stock control, returns and relevant paperwork.
• Maintain general tidiness of department.
• Assist in the efficient operation of the department.
• Receive, unload, identify and accurately check goods from suppliers and enter into stock.
• Report to seniors any discrepancies and damages.
• Ensure the security of all company property.
• Complete and update a work experience portfolio with the cooperation of the training assessor.
• Attend college on block release on a regular basis and maintain high standard of behaviour, attendance and conduct in line with Mercedes Benz expectations.
• Carry out any additional duties as requested and agreed.
• Ultimately learn all aspects of the parts department including trade team and back counter parts sales.
