Job summary

East Kent Colleges Group is seeking an Automotive Lecturer to inspire learners by turning industry expertise into engaging classroom teaching. You will teach across Level 1–Level 3 programmes, assess students, and help them develop skills for future careers.

The role includes leading study programmes with ongoing training through our Teacher Academy. The vacancy specifies two salary scales with progression; initial placement is on the introductory scale.

Qualifications

• Ability to plan and deliver engaging, innovative lessons.
• Experience teaching or delivering training in the workplace is preferred but not essential.
• Able to teach across Level 1 to Level 3 programmes and motivate learners.

Responsibilities

• Teach, train and assess students across a range of learning environments, combining practical knowledge with innovative teaching.
• Lead designated study programmes and/or courses, taking ownership of their design, delivery and evaluation.
• Track student progress and plan targeted support and interventions to help learners succeed.
• Create an environment where students can thrive and reach their full potential.
