Job summary

East Kent Colleges Group is seeking an Automotive Lecturer to drive automotive education by bringing industry expertise from workshop to classroom. You will teach, train and assess students across Level 1–3, and lead designated study programmes, delivering engaging, innovative lessons that build skills and confidence.

The role is part-time (15 hours per week) with a salary of £15,151 to £16,599. Working pattern: Wednesday and Thursday 8:30–5:00. Informal enquiries to [e-mail].

Qualifications

• Highly organised and creative educator capable of planning and delivering engaging, innovative lessons.
• Ability to track student progress and plan targeted interventions.
• Experience teaching or delivering training in the workplace is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Teach, train and assess students across Level 1–3 programmes.
• Lead designated study programmes and/or courses, owning their design, delivery and evaluation.
• Plan and deliver engaging lessons that help learners develop skills and confidence.
