Job summary

Bennett & Game Recruitment Ltd seeks a Design & Production Engineer in Daventry to design exhaust systems and automotive parts using CATIA V5. You will create CAD data and drawings for approval, and design tools and fixtures for prototype and production, while ensuring HSE compliance.

Automotive exposure and engineering design/manufacturing background are required or preferred. The role offers standard hours 8-4, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, pension, and onsite parking in a UK-based

Qualifications

• HND or Degree in engineering is preferred.
• Experience in engineering design & manufacturing environments.
• Automotive industry experience is advantageous.
• Knowledge of TS16949/IATF 16949 is a bonus.
• ISO14001 EMS knowledge is an advantage.
• Six Sigma training is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Use CATIA V5 to design exhaust systems and automotive parts.
• Create CAD data and drawings for customer approval.
• Design, develop, adjust and commission tools, jigs and fixtures for prototype and production.
• Adhere to Health, Safety and Environmental requirements.
