Job summary

Bennett And Game Recruitment is seeking a Design & Production Engineer for an automotive components manufacturer in Daventry.

You will use Catia V5 to design exhaust systems and related parts, create CAD data for customer approvals, and develop tools, jigs and fixtures for prototype and production use. You will work to health and safety standards and within tight timescales as part of a broader engineering team.

Qualifications

• HND/ Degree level, ideally in an engineering discipline.
• Experience of engineering design and manufacturing environments.
• Experience in automotive industry or military vehicle background.
• Knowledge of TS16949/IATF16949 and ISO14001 EMS is advantageous.
• Six Sigma training is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Use Catia V5 to design exhaust systems and related parts with customer data.
• Create CAD data and drawings for customer approval.
• Design, develop, adjust and commission tools, jigs and fixtures for prototype and production.
• Ensure compliance with Health, Safety and Environment requirements.
• Collaborate with the Engineering Design Team to meet tight deadlines.
