Job summary

Protyre Autocare is seeking a hands-on Assistant Centre Manager to help run the depot and deliver strong customer service. You will assist with operations, support the workshop team, and drive KPIs while maintaining stock levels and policy compliance. A background in workshop management and car technology is essential.

You will play a key role in mentoring technicians, ensuring safety standards, and helping achieve centre targets in a fast-growing national automotive group.

Qualifications

Full Clean UK Driving Licence, held for at least 6 months (age restrictions may apply)
Workshop experience and management experience
Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to coach and mentor team
High level understanding of car technology and health & safety requirements

Responsibilities

Assist Centre Manager in operation and daily running of the depot
Support workshop team mechanically when required
Contribute to centre target achievement and KPIs
Oversee stock values within the centre
Deliver and maintain excellent customer service
Ensure work complies with Company Policies and Procedures
