Perfect Placement is seeking a Branch Manager for a well-established independent garage and MOT centre in Manchester. This is an opportunity to lead a busy workshop, drive business growth, and advance your managerial career within a reputable company.

The role offers a basic salary of £40,000 with an achievable OTE of £45,000 plus incentives, a Monday–Friday 45-hour week, and clear progression into senior management.

Qualifications

• Experience leading an automotive workshop or branch.
• Experience with MOT testing is preferred.
• Confident in client communication and customer service delivery.
• Well-organised and commercially aware with workload prioritisation.
• Knowledge of workshop operations and health & safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily branch and workshop operations.
• Lead and support the technical team to deliver high‑quality work.
• Carry out MOT testing and support MOT operations as required.
• Manage customer relationships to ensure satisfaction.
• Track workshop performance, productivity and profitability.
• Schedule workflow, bookings and technician workloads.
• Uphold health and safety standards and company procedures.
• Support and develop workshop colleagues and drive growth.
