Due to the secure nature of the programme, you will need to hold or be eligible for the highest level of UK Security Clearance (DV). You will be required to work onsite 5 days a week in our Reading office.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

1. Supporting the Lead Technical Consultant on requirements analysis and solution design, including estimating.
2. Communicating test results to technical and business stakeholders and working collaboratively to resolve issues raised.
3. Supporting the team to implement solutions, getting hands-on with test preparation and execution.
4. Reviewing test baseline documentation, e.g. functional or non-functional specifications; High Level Designs (HLD); Hosting Design Document.
5. Engaging with users, architects, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and agree test coverage.
6. Providing specialist advice to support others, including coaching and mentoring.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

1. Strong core testing skills that encompass testing of infrastructure and/or the ability to adapt testing skills to infrastructure verification.
2. Ability to create test cases using in-depth technical analysis of both functional and non-functional specifications (such as reliability, efficiency, usability, maintainability and portability).
3. Ability to design automated test scripts in a modular fashion to facilitate reuse and maintenance.
