Job summary

Cognizant, based in Greater London, is seeking an Automation Tester to own end-to-end quality in a cross-functional Agile team. You will design and maintain Java-driven test frameworks, leveraging Playwright, and drive automated testing across APIs and services.

Responsibilities include integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines (GitLab/Jenkins), performing SQL data validation, and ensuring robust test coverage while collaborating with developers and product teams.

We are seeking a Automation Tester with strong expertise in Java programming, test automation framework development, CI/CD, SQL, and API/service-level testing. The ideal candidate should be capable of owning quality end-to-end and working effectively within a cross-functional Agile environment.

• Write clean, reusable, maintainable, and testable automation code following OOP and good engineering practices.
• Develop and execute automated test cases for functional and end-to-end testing.
