Job summary

Coforge in Leeds is seeking a QA Automation Engineer to design, develop, and maintain automated tests using WebDriverIO within an agile team. You will contribute to an automation framework, build regression suites, and maintain test cases in Azure DevOps with traceability to user stories, acceptance criteria, defects, and regression evidence.

You will identify defects, escalate risks, collaborate with Developers and Product Owners, participate in code reviews, and support CI/CD pipeline

Qualifications

Experience with WebDriverIO
Automation framework development and maintenance
Experience with Azure DevOps/Test Management
Understanding of CI/CD pipelines
Strong manual and automation testing skills
Experience working in Agile environments

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using WebDriverIO.
Contribute to and enhance a shared automation framework and repository.
Build, execute, and maintain regression test suites covering key customer journeys.
Create and maintain test cases in Azure DevOps with full traceability to user stories, acceptance criteria, defects, and regression evidence.
Identify, log, and track defects, escalating risks and issues where required.
Work closely with Developers during sprint planning and delivery to identify automation opportunities.
Participate in code reviews, framework improvements, and automation stability initiatives.
Support CI/CD pipeline execution and release readiness activities.
