Job summary

A leading global technology service provider is looking for a highly experienced Automation Test Engineer (with DevOps) in the UK. The ideal candidate will have a strong software testing background and hands-on experience with Java, Node.js, CI/CD, Terraform, and Azure. Responsibilities include designing scalable test frameworks, developing automated tests, and collaborating on AI solutions. Active SC clearance is required for this role.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in software testing and automation development.
• Strong programming skills in Java and Node.js.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools.
• Expertise in Terraform for IaC and cloud resource provisioning.
• Experience with Azure cloud services.
• Familiarity with Docker and container orchestration.
• Experience in API testing and service virtualisation.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement automated test frameworks using Java and Node.js.
• Develop and execute automated test suites for various testing types.
• Perform API testing and ensure validation of integrations.
• Build CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Maven.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
• Work with Azure services to manage test environments.
• Create Docker containers for test setups.
• Collaborate on developing AI solutions using various LLMs.
• Apply service virtualisation techniques during testing.
• Debug complex Java and Node.js applications.
• Document test strategies and results.
• Communicate with cross-functional teams.
