Job summary

Netcompany is seeking a QA Automation professional to drive functional UI and API testing across large software projects in the UK. You will work with Business Analysts and Developers to ensure robust, scalable test coverage and high-quality releases.

You will execute both manual and automated tests, create clear test cases, maintain automated suites, and contribute to test strategy and process improvements within a hybrid work model.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Automation testing experience.
• Automation, Manual and/or QA testing experience.
• Defining and executing test strategies, plans and scripts.
• Create, maintain and optimise automated tests for stability and scalability.
• Experience with Test Driven Development and tools like Selenium WebDriver.

Responsibilities

• Execute manual and automated test cases to ensure software quality.
• Log, track, and report defects using JIRA or Azure DevOps.
• Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to resolve issues.
• Contribute to improving testing processes and overall product quality.

You will always be part of a project team with Business Analysts and Developer colleagues from Netcompany, who work closely with you and the customer.

Key Responsibilities/Skills:

• Must have Functional User Interface (UI) & API Testing experience
• Must have Microsoft Azure experience
• Postman or similar API testing tool experience
• Selenium C# is desirable
• Execute manual and automated test cases to ensure software quality
• Write clear, concise test cases and detailed bug reports
• Log, track, and manage defects using tools such as JIRA or Azure DevOps (ADO)
• Collaborate closely with developers and stakeholders to resolve issues
• Contribute to improving testing processes and overall product quality

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Automationtesting experience
• Must be experienced in Automation, Manual and/or QA testing experience
• Defining and executing test strategies, plans and scripts
• Create, maintain and optimise automated tests to ensure stability & scalability.
• Experienced in Test Driven Development
• Hands on experience in Spock or Junit
• Experience in Jira, Zephyr, Xray, Selenium WebDriver or similar Jira testing tool
• Monitoring of issuesand providing test reports
• Experience with security or penetration testing would be advantageous
