Job summary

Netcompany is seeking a QA/test professional to join its UK team. You will help deliver socially critical IT systems by performing functional UI and API testing, planning and executing test suites, and collaborating with developers and stakeholders to improve software quality.

Hybrid working arrangement is offered, with private medical care, pension contributions, life assurance, and ongoing professional certification support.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of automation testing experience.
• Experience in Automation, Manual and/or QA testing.
• Defining and executing test strategies, plans and scripts.
• Create, maintain and optimise automated tests to ensure stability & scalability.
• Experienced in Test Driven Development
• Hands on experience in Spock or Junit
• Experience in Jira, Zephyr, Xray, Selenium WebDriver or similar Jira testing tool
• Monitoring of issues and providing test reports
• Experience with security or penetration testing would be advantageous

• Execute manual and automated test cases to ensure software quality
• Log, track, and manage defects using tools such as JIRA or Azure DevOps (ADO)
• Collaborate closely with developers and stakeholders to resolve issues

You will always be part of a project team with Business Analysts and Developer colleagues from Netcompany, who work closely with you and the customer.

Key Responsibilities/Skills:

• Must have Functional User Interface (UI) & API Testing experience
• Must have Microsoft Azure experience
• Postman or similar API testing tool experience
• Selenium C# is desirable
• Execute manual and automated test cases to ensure software quality
• Write clear, concise test cases and detailed bug reports
• Log, track, and manage defects using tools such as JIRA or Azure DevOps (ADO)
• Collaborate closely with developers and stakeholders to resolve issues
• Contribute to improving testing processes and overall product quality
