Job summary

Vertech Group (UK) Ltd is seeking an Automation SCADA Engineer to join a fast-growing specialist process automation company. The role offers remote and hybrid work with flexibility around where you're based in the UK, and occasional travel to customer sites for project commissioning and testing.

The ideal candidate has PLC/SCADA programming experience, familiarity with Siemens and/or Rockwell/Allen Bradley, and a background in dairy or food & beverage environments, along with strong customer

Qualifications

• Essential PLC/SCADA programming experience.
• Experience with Siemens and/or Rockwell/Allen Bradley hardware.
• Experience in dairy and/or food & beverage environments.
• Background in process automation.
• Testing and/or commissioning experience.
• Good customer communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Owns automation lifecycle activities from design to commissioning.
• Collaborates with engineering team on varied projects.
• Travel to customer sites as required by projects and commissioning.
• Supports remote/hybrid delivery with flexible UK location.

Automation SCADA Engineer

Location: Remote / Hybrid - flexible UK location

Salary: £40,000 - £70,000 + Bonus + Excellent Benefits

Automation SCADA Engineer required by a fast-growing specialist process automation company!

This is a great opportunity to join a close-knit engineering team with ambitious growth plans, working on varied process automation projects across the dairy and food & beverage sectors

The role offers plenty of flexibility around where you're based. You'll work remotely alongside the wider engineering team, with travel to customer sites depending on project and commissioning requirements

Essential:

• PLC/SCADA programming experience
• Siemens and/or Rockwell / Allen Bradley experience
• Experience within dairy and/or food & beverage environments
• Experience within process automation
• Testing and/or commissioning experience
• Good customer communication skills

Nice-to-have:

• Exposure to CIP or similar automated process systems
