Job summary

Experis is seeking a QA Engineer (Inside IR35) for a 12-month contract in Ipswich. You will develop automation test scripts, test client applications and embedded devices, and tackle complex issues within agile squads.

The role emphasizes collaboration across software and networking teams and proactive quality improvements. The ideal candidate will have Robot Framework expertise, Python experience, and familiarity with virtual machines, Docker, Linux, and CI tools like Git/JIRA/GitLab.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with Robot Framework and Python.
• Experience with VMs and containerisation (Docker).
• Strong knowledge of Linux and related tooling.
• Experience with code revision and issue tracking/CI tools (Git, JIRA, GitLab).
• Solid understanding of Agile delivery methods and tools (Scrum/JIRA/wiki).
• Good communication of complex technical information.

Responsibilities

• Develop automation test scripts for next generation converged products and services.
• Test client applications and embedded devices within agile squads.
• Tackle complex cross-domain issues impacting customers.
