The Job:

The Automation QA Engineer role within Kuoni Tumlare involves delivering testing across various projects and IT developments & applications. Working closely with software developers, this role focuses on analyzing and resolving defects to ensure quality delivery and maintenance of software and applications.

Responsibilities include:

1. Collaborating with business analysts and developers to define testing scope for legacy and new web-based systems.
2. Providing estimates and feedback for project planning and scheduling testing activities.
3. Designing and maintaining test scripts for review and approval.
4. Testing software throughout all development phases, including BAU, on various systems.
5. Executing automated and manual tests (functional/regression).
6. Reviewing test results against expected outcomes based on acceptance criteria.
7. Tracking and analyzing test issues, re-testing fixes.
8. Working with developers to resolve defects.
9. Supporting Business Analysis and support tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

• At least 3+ years of experience in automation QA, particularly with BSS applications and transformation projects.
• Experience with automation frameworks and relevant tools for web and desktop applications.
• Knowledge of automation principles, testing techniques, and both white box and black box testing.
• Ability to create and expand automation test suites.
• Experience with API automation.
• Contributing to unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Proficiency in JIRA for bug tracking.
• Travel industry knowledge is advantageous.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
• Strong problem-solving skills, resilience, and accountability.
• Ability to articulate ideas clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Creative and positive attitude towards solutions.
