Job summary

Thames Water is seeking a Control Testing Automation & Monitoring Lead to design and deliver automated control testing and monitoring solutions across IT, OT and business environments. You will work with the Control Testing & Assurance Manager, digital teams and stakeholders to automate testing and enable continuous monitoring that supports risk and compliance objectives.

Qualifications

Experience in control testing automation and related assurance activities.
Ability to design and implement automation plans with measurable outcomes.
Knowledge of risk management practices and control frameworks.
Experience collaborating with technical and business teams on automation projects.

Responsibilities

Identify opportunities to automate control testing across IT, OT, and business functions.
Design, develop, and implement automation workflows for continuous monitoring.
Evaluate tooling and technologies for control testing automation.
Establish reliable data acquisition and integration processes with digital teams.
Review automated outputs and report control deficiencies.
Document automation workflows and exception handling.
Engage stakeholders to gather requirements and support automation initiatives.
Ensure timely delivery of automation initiatives aligned with programme objectives.
Escalate risks or delays and contribute to resolution.
Drive continuous improvement through automation and innovation.
