Abbott in Witney is seeking a multi-skilled Support Engineer II to join our Operations Group. You will perform preventive maintenance on bespoke automated equipment, respond to breakdowns, monitor performance, and support projects implementing equipment changes in a cleanroom environment.

With an engineering background, you will bring fault finding, precision assembly setup, and problem-solving skills while contributing to yield improvements and cross-team collaboration.

Qualifications

• Engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Completed engineering apprenticeship or a higher education qualification (ONC/HNC/HND or degree).
• Continuous Improvement is encouraged and valued.
• Ability to communicate with peers and other departments and maintain high-quality records.

Responsibilities

• Perform Preventive Maintenance on bespoke automated equipment and processes to support manufacturing operations.
• Respond to breakdowns promptly and monitor equipment performance to sustain yields and efficiencies.
• Assist Projects Team in implementing changes to equipment and processes.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the site.
