We are now recruiting for Pool Automation Maintenance Technicians at our Chelmsford Mail Centre, Winsford Way, CHELMSFORD. CM2 5AA site.
Salary: £51,051 per annum, plus night shift allowance. 22.5 days annual leave with bank holidays and a defined contribution pension scheme. Weekend shift allowances: Saturday (£51) and Sunday (£102) per attendance.
You may be eligible for a welcome bonus of £1,500* (payments are made in installments and subject to terms and conditions).
The successful candidate will cover the Chelmsford Mail Centre shift rotation, with some voluntary flexibility for 24/7 operational needs, including overtime and shift pattern adjustments.
This role is a Pool position, requiring adaptability to cover for other Technicians during their leave or sick leave. You will follow an 8-week shift rota:

Full-time, 40 hours/week. Responsible for maintaining automation assets through preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance. Key tasks include:
You should be a qualified electrical and mechanical engineer (minimum ONC Electrical Engineering / NVQ Level 3 or equivalent), with experience in automation maintenance and a good understanding of Health & Safety legislation. A full UK driving licence is required for occasional site travel.
