Tate & Lyle Sugars seeks a Maintenance Technician for their Thames and Plaistow Sites in Greater London. This role involves providing maintenance services to all plant and equipment, focusing on plant availability and reliability. Candidates should have experience in maintenance within automated continuous processes and ideally possess an HNC/NVQ Level 4 in an engineering discipline.

Qualifications

• Comparable experience of maintenance within an automated continuous process environment.
• Experience of Predictive/Preventative maintenance techniques and regimes.
• Preferably an HNC/NVQ 4 in an engineering discipline.

Responsibilities

• Carry out plant isolations.
• Maintenance responsibility for all mechanical and electrical systems.
• Plan, schedule, and agree daily/weekly workload.
• Administer and review SAP maintenance system.
• Undertake detailed RCA on component failures.

Skills

Maintenance experience in automated continuous processes

Predictive/Preventative maintenance techniques

Experience with PLC and/or HT systems

Education

HNC/NVQ Level 4 in engineering discipline

BTEC/ONC in relevant discipline

Tools
