Job summary

Tate & Lyle Sugars is seeking a Reliability Engineer in Plaistow to develop and manage asset care strategies for packing and processing equipment, with capital projects up to £500K. You will work within Engineering, reporting to the Maintenance Manager, on a Mon-Fri days shift.

The role focuses on improving plant reliability, data-driven decision making, and maintaining SAP maintenance systems and KPI reporting. A strong engineering background is essential.

Qualifications

• HNC/NVQ 4+ in engineering or higher is required.
• Strong data analysis and reporting skills.
• Experience with SAP maintenance modules is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Improve plant reliability by reducing downtime and reactive work.
• Analyse SAP/PBI data to monitor maintenance performance.
• Develop and manage preventative and predictive maintenance plans.
