Yolk Recruitment is partnering with a growing SME to recruit a Maintenance Technician for a Bristol-based role. You’ll work on automated equipment, building, installing, fault-finding, maintaining and commissioning systems in a predominantly workshop environment with occasional travel across the UK and Europe.

The role emphasizes strong electrical/controls knowledge, hands-on electrical competence, and practical mechanical skills, with travel as required.

Qualifications

• Strong fault-finding skills across automated equipment.
• Solid electrical/control understanding with logical fault-finding approach.
• Confident in reading electrical schematics and using a multimeter.

Responsibilities

• Build, install, fault-find, maintain and commission automated mechanical and electrical systems.
• Troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment via I/O and diagnostics, not programming.
• Test and commission equipment in workshop and at customer sites.
