Job summary

Rise10 Recruitment is partnering with a leading automated logistics and material handling organisation in Northampton to recruit a Multi-Skilled Site Engineer. The role focuses on maintenance, automation and control systems, ensuring safe, efficient operation of automated equipment on a major site.

You’ll join a dedicated engineering team, handling faults, planned and reactive maintenance, and continuous improvement initiatives within a technically advanced environment.

Qualifications

• Mechanical and/or electrical maintenance experience required.
• Experience with automation and control systems.
• NVQ/BTEC/City & Guilds/ONC/HNC or equivalent engineering qualification.
• Experience fault finding on automated equipment.
• Experience using CMMS.
• Strong communication and customer-facing skills.
• Willingness to work a 4-on, 4-off shift.

Responsibilities

• Respond to equipment faults and reset errors.
• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults.
• Support automated equipment and control systems.
• Maintain records in quality and maintenance systems.
• Follow 5S and health & safety procedures.
• Cover Engineering Assistant duties when required.
• Collaborate with site management and engineering teams.
