Job summary

Logistex is seeking a hands-on Field Service Engineer to cover customer sites across the South of England. You will diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical faults on automated handling systems, perform maintenance, and support installation and commissioning projects.

Qualifications

NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
Strong electrical and mechanical maintenance experience.
Experience diagnosing and resolving faults on industrial equipment.
Knowledge of AC/DC controls; motors & drives; sensors & control systems; PLC fault finding; hydraulics & pneumatics.

Responsibilities

Maintain and support conveyors, sorters, AGV's, automated handling systems and associated machinery.
Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults across automation systems.
Carry out planned preventative maintenance and emergency breakdown repairs.
Support equipment upgrades, installations and commissioning projects.
Complete service documentation and maintenance records accurately.
Ensure compliance with Health & Safety and company quality standards.
Build and maintain strong working relationships with customers and colleagues.
