Job summary

BrewDog is hiring an Automation Engineer to maintain and enhance the brewery's Automation, Control Systems and Operational Technology. You will apply PLC/SCADA/HMI expertise to support day-to-day operations and project delivery, collaborating with Engineering, Maintenance and Production teams.

Join a dynamic site, drive standardisation, and help improve safety, reliability and efficiency through digital technologies. On-site role with a focus on compliant, secure industrial automation.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintaining and improving PLC, SCADA, HMI and industrial control systems.
• Ability to develop functional design specs and control philosophies.
• Knowledge of OT cybersecurity, backups and disaster recovery processes.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, support and improve PLC, SCADA, HMI and industrial control systems.
• Develop, modify and commission PLC and HMI software per engineering standards.
• Support fault finding and root cause analysis of automation issues.
• Ensure documentation, version control and MoC compliance.
• Coordinate with suppliers and integrators to deliver projects.
