Job summary
Hunter Selection is recruiting an Automation Engineer for a well‑established UK manufacturing business. You will maintain and improve automated production systems to maximise reliability, efficiency and site performance, reporting into the Engineering team.

Qualifications
- Degree or equivalent in Electrical/Automation/Mechatronics.
- Experience in manufacturing or FMCG environments.
- Strong PLC programming and troubleshooting (Siemens/Allen‑Bradley).
- Experience with HMI and SCADA systems.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and optimise automated production equipment.
- Program, modify, and support PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
- Support new equipment installations and automation projects.
- Drive continuous improvement to enhance productivity and performance.
