Job summary

ABCA Group is seeking an Automation Engineer to service and maintain automated doors, gates, barriers and access control across social housing and commercial sites. You will respond to callouts, perform installations, maintenance and fault finding, and contribute to site surveys and reports.

Candidates should have experience with automatic doors and access control, a valid UK driving licence, and strong fault-finding skills. A company vehicle is provided along with benefits and holidays.

Qualifications

• 3+ years industry experience
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Hands-on, customer-focused with problem solving skills

Responsibilities

• Respond to reactive callouts and diagnose faults efficiently
• Install, service, maintain and repair automated doors, gates, barriers and access control systems
• Carry out surveys, inspections and site assessments
• Record works, parts used and technical information accurately
• Provide professional customer-focused service on site
• Work in line with health and safety requirements
• Join an on-call rota when required
