Job summary

Contek Recruitment Solutions LTD is seeking an experienced Access Control Door Engineer to join our established engineering team in Birmingham. You will install, service, maintain and fault-find high-security access control systems and automated doors across commercial and industrial sites.

The ideal candidate has proven experience as an Access Control or Electronic Security Door Engineer, strong knowledge of access control platforms, magnetic locks, intercoms and door operators, and a full UK

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Access Control or Electronic Security Door Engineer (role required).
• Strong knowledge of access control platforms, magnetic locks, intercoms and door operators.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams, schematics and technical specifications.
• Excellent problem-solving with a proactive, safety-first mindset.
• Full UK driving licence is essential.

Responsibilities

• Install and commission advanced access control and automated door systems.
• Carry out routine maintenance checks for safety and performance.
• Diagnose and repair complex issues to minimize downtime.
• Provide on-site client technical support and advice.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and site protocols.
