Job summary

AtkinsRéalis in the United Kingdom is seeking an Automation Engineer to lead multi-organizational integration and end-to-end process automation projects, including our enterprise data warehouse.

The role requires a software development background, strong automation skills in Azure, and the ability to design, develop, test and document scalable integration solutions while collaborating with business and data teams.

Qualifications

• Azure cloud services: Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions and Azure SQL.
• PowerShell.
• T-SQL.
• SCORCH (Microsoft System Center Orchestrator).
• REST API and SOAP/XML.
• Active Directory and management tools.
• SCCM and other System Center products (e.g. SCCM).
• Azure Active Directory (Entra ID).
• SSIS, SSAS, SSRS.
• DevOps practices: Git and CI/CD with Azure DevOps.
• ASP.NET Core (C#) and Entity Framework Core.
• Experience delivering integration solutions with modern software tech.
• Experience with Finance/HR ERPs (Workday, Oracle, etc.).
• Power BI.

Responsibilities

• Support multi-organizational integration and end-to-end automation projects and the enterprise data warehouse.
• Provide technical direction and contribute to technical specs and process documentation.
• Design, develop, simulate and test automation and integration tasks using Azure stack tools.
• Create and maintain optimal integration solutions and data integration architecture.
• Manage, review, monitor and report on the status of automation and integration services.
• Act as escalation point for incidents and coordinate resolution.
• Stay current with industry trends and evaluate new technologies.
• Plan and implement technology upgrades, maintenance and fixes.
