Qualifications

• 3+ years delivering RPA or automation projects.
• Hands-on NiCE RPA development experience.

• Experience integrating automation with enterprise systems.
• Public sector or central government experience preferred.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced Automation Developer with strong NiCE RPA expertise to join a major digital transformation programme within the UK Public Sector.

This is a hands-on development role, working on enterprise-scale automation solutions designed to streamline business processes, improve operational efficiency and support critical services.

You will work closely with technical teams, architects and business stakeholders to design, develop, deploy and enhance robust automation solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test and deploy automation solutions using NiCE RPA.
• Maintain, optimise and enhance existing automation workflows.
• Investigate and resolve production issues, defects and technical challenges.
• Translate business requirements into effective technical automation solutions.
• Support releases, deployments and go-live activities.
• Produce technical documentation and contribute to development best practices.
• Collaborate with engineering, architecture and platform teams to ensure secure, scalable solutions.

Essential Skills & Experience:

• Strong hands-on NiCE RPA development experience – essential.
• Active SC Clearance preferred
• Minimum 3 years' experience delivering RPA or automation solutions.
• Proven experience developing and supporting enterprise-scale automations.
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities.
• Experience working within Agile delivery environments.
• Experience integrating automation solutions with enterprise systems.
• Previous experience within Central Government or the wider Public Sector.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
