Job summary

Hunter Selection Ltd in Bromyard, England is seeking an Automation Engineer to maintain and improve automated production systems, ensuring maximum equipment reliability, efficiency and performance across the site. You will program, modify and support PLC, HMI and SCADA systems, conduct root cause analysis and drive continuous improvement while supporting new equipment installations.

The role offers a £60,000 salary, 25 days holiday, bank holidays and overtime, with a Monday–Friday days pattern

Qualifications

• HNC/HND or Degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Mechatronics, or related discipline.
• Experience within manufacturing, FMCG, packaging, food & beverage, recycling, or similar industrial environment.
• Strong PLC programming and troubleshooting skills (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, or similar).
• Experience working with HMI and SCADA systems.
• Strong understanding of electrical control systems, drives, sensors, and instrumentation.

Responsibilities
