Job summary

Questech Recruitment Ltd is seeking an Automation / Controls Engineer for a leading manufacturing business. The role focuses on maintaining, improving and developing automated production systems.

You will diagnose PLC faults, support upgrades and drive continuous improvement while collaborating with maintenance and production teams on day shifts.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Strong electrical and controls/automation knowledge.
• Experience with PLC fault-finding and programming.
• Ability to read and understand electrical drawings.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Strong electrical and controls/automation knowledge.
• Experience with PLC fault-finding and programming.
• Ability to read and understand electrical drawings.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
• Relevant electrical/engineering qualifications are desirable.

This role is working Monday - Friday - Days only (8am - 4pm.)
