Job summary
Müller UK & Ireland is seeking an Automation Development Engineer to join our on-site team in Bridgwater. You will design and deliver automation systems with focus on OT, lifecycle management, and cost efficiency in a fast-moving FMCG environment.

Qualifications
- Proven experience in automation engineering, ideally within Dairy, FMCG or manufacturing.
- Strong understanding of automation systems, OT architecture, and project lifecycle management.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to coach and mentor others, with a collaborative and proactive mindset. Familiarity with Rockwell / Siemens PLC
Responsibilities
- Understand the concept of Lowest Total Cost of Ownership and design and deliver systems accordingly.
- Understand unique challenges of FMCG and design and deliver systems accordingly.
- Play an active part in continuously improving our systems and business.
- Understand the impact of own actions and others on achieving site/business OGSM.
- Support improvement activities / events within engineering owned areas.
