Job summary

Müller UK & Ireland is seeking an Automation Development Engineer to lead automation elements across our FMCG operations. The role involves acting as a SME, guiding supplier engagements, and delivering projects that meet our specifications and quality standards.

You will design and implement automation across multiple sites, maintain our automation standards, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives while aligning with OT standards and health & safety practices.

Qualifications

Proven experience in automation engineering, ideally within Dairy, FMCG or manufacturing.
Strong understanding of automation systems, OT architecture, and project lifecycle management.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Ability to coach and mentor others with a collaborative and proactive mindset.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage automation elements of technical investment projects, ensuring alignment with Müller's processes.
Act as Automation SME when engaging with suppliers and supporting scope changes.
Provide technical support to project teams and ensure delivery to specifications and quality standards.
Design and deliver automation projects across Müller sites with varying complexity.
Promote and maintain automation standards, ensuring compliance and continuous improvement.
