Job summary

Rubicon Consulting is seeking an Automation Design Engineer on a 6-month contract based in the East of England. The role focuses on controls/automation design with essential AutoCAD experience.

Deliverables include creating a new AutoCAD symbol library, updating standards, and converting junction box designs to AutoCAD. Prior experience with Control Logix, PCS7, Step 7, or similar systems is advantageous.

Qualifications

• AutoCAD experience is essential for the role.
• Understanding/experience of Automation and Control Panel Design is highly desirable.
• Ability to interpret and develop electrical/automation drawings and standards.

Responsibilities

• Create a new AutoCAD Symbol Library for Controls/Automation including key components.
• Create and update standard designs and templates in AutoCAD.
• Convert standard junction box designs to AutoCAD and ensure consistency with project standards.

• Create and update new standard designs and templates in AutoCAD
• Convert standard junction box designs to AutoCAD
