Atlas NextWave seeks a Controls/Automation Design Engineer with AutoCAD expertise to develop standardised controls documentation. The role focuses on creating and updating AutoCAD standards, templates, and symbol libraries, and converting existing designs into AutoCAD format.

You will deliver a new AutoCAD Symbol Library for Controls/Automation, update standard designs, and maintain templates to support consistent engineering documentation across projects.

Description du poste

We are seeking a Controls/Automation Design Engineer with AutoCAD experience to support the development and standardisation of controls and automation design documentation. The role will focus on creating and updating AutoCAD standards, templates, and symbol libraries, while supporting the conversion of existing design documentation into AutoCAD format.

Key Responsibilities

Create a new AutoCAD Symbol Library for Controls/Automation applications, including:

• Control Logix
• PCS7
• Step 7 TIA
• Vibration Monitoring
• Terminals

Create and update standard designs within AutoCAD.

Develop and maintain AutoCAD templates to support standardised engineering documentation.

Experience & Skills Required

Highly Desirable

• Understanding of, or experience with, Automation and Control Panel Design.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering:

• A new AutoCAD Symbol Library for Controls/Automation systems and equipment.
• Updated and standardised AutoCAD designs and templates.
• Conversion of standard junction box designs into AutoCAD.
