GET Staff is seeking an Automatic Gate Engineer to join a field-based team covering Liverpool and surrounding areas. The role involves installation, service, repair and maintenance of automated gates and related access equipment.

The ideal candidate has a full UK driving licence, 3+ years in the gate and barrier industry, and a proactive, training-ready mindset; IPAF/CSCS/DHF/Gate Safe qualifications are a plus. A competitive salary and overtime opportunities are offered.

Formación

• Full UK driving licence required.
• 3+ years in the gate and barrier industry preferred.
• Willing to train if not all disciplines are present.
• Knowledge of a range of manufacturers.
• Desirable IPAF, CSCS/ECS, DHF/Gate Safe or City & Guilds.

Responsabilidades

• Installation, service, repair, fault-finding and maintenance of automated gates and related equipment.
• Field-based role covering multiple sites.
• Work with a range of manufacturers’ products.
• Take responsibility for the overall quality of work delivered.
• Communicate with customers at all times and ensure tasks are completed efficiently.
• Provide support to team members when required.

• £35,000 - £40,000 Basic Salary + Overtime (Negotiable depending on experience)
• Full-Time, Permanent
• Monday to Friday Hours
• Area Covered: Liverpool (North West & the Surrounding Areas)

Our Client are currently looking for an Automatic Gate Engineer to join their highly valued team on a Full-Time, Permanent basis. With many years' experience in the industry, they're entering another period of growth and are looking to expand their team due to customer demand.

Automatic Gate Engineer Role and Responsibilities

• Installation, Service, Repair, Fault-finding & Maintenance of Automated Gates, Barriers, Bollards, Access Systems & other related products
• Field based role, covering a number of sites
• Working on a range of brands of manufacturer
• Take responsibility for the overall quality of the work delivered
• Carry out effective communication with customers at all times
• Ensure tasks are completed efficiently
• Providing support to team members where required

Automatic Gate Engineer Skills and Experience Required

• A full UK driving licence or equivalent (Essential)
• Ideally you will have at least 3 years' experience working within the Gate & Barrier Industry (Not essential)
• Considering applicants with all or single discipline providing you are willing to train
• Knowledge of a range of manufacturers
• Desirable qualifications include: IPAF, CSCS/ ECS, DHF/ Gate Safe and/or City & Guilds
• A positive attitude and the ability to self-motivate is a must
