Henley Chase is seeking an experienced Automatic Doors Project Manager to lead projects across London and the M25. You will ensure EN 16005 compliance, coordinate engineers and subcontractors, and drive delivery on time and within safety standards.

The role offers a salary around £55,000 with DOE and occasional work-from-home flexibility, enabling ownership of a growing order book and impactful project outcomes.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in the automatic doors industry.
• Strong working knowledge of EN 16005.
• Experience managing automatic doors projects or coordinating engineering teams.
• Ability to work independently and make decisions with minimal support.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Happy to travel across London and the M25.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Manage automatic door projects from planning through to completion.
• Coordinate engineers, subcontractors, materials and site access.
• Plan workloads, allocate resources and manage project schedules.
• Ensure installations meet EN 16005 and safety standards.
• Liaise with clients, contractors and site teams throughout delivery.
• Monitor progress, costs and programme deadlines.
• Resolve technical and operational issues as they arise.
• Ensure project documentation and reports are completed.

Automatic Doors Project Manager - EN 16005

Location: London & M25
Salary: £55,000 DOE
Start Date: Flexible - ideally before the end of 2026 or January 2027

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in automatic doors and a thorough understanding of EN 16005.

The business has approximately £800,000 worth of work in its order book, creating an immediate need for someone who can take ownership of projects, coordinate engineering resources and ensure work is delivered safely, efficiently and to the required standard.

This role would suit an established automatic doors professional who can take responsibility from day one, with minimal training required.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage automatic door projects from planning through to completion.
• Coordinate engineers, subcontractors, materials and site access.
• Plan workloads, allocate resources and manage project schedules.
• Ensure all installations and works meet EN 16005 requirements and relevant safety standards.
• Liaise with clients, contractors and site teams throughout project delivery.
• Monitor project progress, quality, costs and programme deadlines.
• Resolve technical and operational issues as they arise.
• Ensure project documentation, reports and compliance records are completed.
• Support the efficient delivery of a busy order book across London and the M25.
• Attend sites and client meetings as required.
