Job summary

WR Engineering in the United Kingdom is seeking an Industrial Door Engineer to service, maintain, and repair industrial and automatic doors across a South East regional patch, with a focus around the M25. You will work in a varied field-service role, delivering high levels of customer satisfaction and site safety.

The package includes a base salary of £35,000–£40,000, OTE £45,000 with overtime, a company van, tools, PPE, and ongoing training. 25 days holiday plus benefits.

Qualifications

• Background in electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, or similar engineering discipline.
• Field service experience (Automatic or Industrial Doors).
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable working independently and customer-facing.
• Flexibility to travel.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintenance, and repair of industrial doors.

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM).
• Provide clear service reports and recommendations.

A UK-based specialist in automatic door and access solutions is looking to recruit a Service Engineer to support continued growth across the South East region especially around the M25. The business is well-established, supplying major names across retail, logistics, and distribution, with a strong reputation for service quality and long-term customer relationships.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and repairing industrial and automatic across a regional patch, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and operational performance.
