Job summary

Professional Technical Ltd is seeking an Automatic Door Engineer to cover the Central Belt of Scotland. The role involves installing, maintaining and repairing automatic door systems, with emphasis on safety and customer service.

You will respond to breakdowns, conduct site surveys and ensure EN16005 compliance. The position offers a £40,000 base salary with an OTE around £55,000 through overtime and progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience installing automatic door systems (sliding, swing, bi-fold).
• Ability to diagnose mechanical and electrical faults and perform repairs.
• Strong customer-facing skills and site communication.

Responsibilities

• Installation of automatic door systems across various sites.
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance for performance and safety.
• Diagnose faults and repair mechanical/electrical issues.
• Attend reactive call-outs and emergency breakdowns.
• Ensure work complies with EN16005 safety standards.
