Job summary

Manpower UK is recruiting for Production Operatives in Gloucestershire to run automated machinery and pack finished goods on a production line. Starting in the first week of January 2027, the role offers ongoing work with strong temp-to-perm prospects at a modern, hygienic site in Barnwood, Gloucester.

Pay starts at £14.11 per hour, rising to £33.60 and progressing to £36.95 based on performance and training. Flexible weekend shifts are preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in food production is desirable.
• Ability to operate and monitor automated production lines.
• Capable of working to tight deadlines and switch shifts as required.

Responsibilities

• Operate a variety of machinery producing units of packed products.
• Pack finished products on the end of the line and complete paperwork.
• Maintain high hygiene standards and quality throughout the process.
• Communicate issues as they arise and follow company procedures.
• Support training and mentoring of team members as needed.
