Job summary

Sun Magic in Headcorn, UK is hiring a Machine Operator on a permanent basis to join our beverage production team. You will set up and operate automated bottle-filling lines and labeling machinery, ensuring products meet specification and pre-start checks are completed.

You will monitor line performance, maintain GMP and health & safety standards, and keep records tidy. The role includes a weekly 7am-3pm and 3pm-11pm shift rotation with occasional weekend work paid at double rate.

Qualifications

• Set up and operate automated bottle-filling lines and labelling machinery.
• Monitor required key parameters - speed, continuous and efficient workflow, precise fill levels, capping tightness, accurate label placement.
• Ensure works meet company specifications.
• Ensure pre-start checks are carried out and report any non-conformances.
• Complete required records and documentation.
• Ensure working area and lines are kept clean and tidy.
• Ensure machinery/equipment is cleaned to a high standard.
• Ensure efficient shift changeover, minimize downtime, GMP compliance, and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with Health and Safety, Food Safety and Hygiene requirements.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate automated bottle-filling lines and labelling machinery.
