Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment Ltd in Durham is seeking a Draughtsman with AutoCAD experience to work on roofing, cladding and facade projects. This office-based role offers a 5-day week in Durham, with a Christmas bonus, 25 days holiday, pension and early finish Fridays.

You will produce detailed AutoCAD drawings, prepare material schedules and support project delivery while collaborating with design and project teams across the North East and Yorkshire.

Qualifications

• Experience using AutoCAD within the construction industry.
• Background in roofing, cladding, façades, curtain walling or architecture.
• Keen to develop skills in Revit, Rhino or other 3D design software.
• Strong attention to detail and a positive, proactive attitude.
• Full UK Driving License.

Responsibilities

• Producing detailed AutoCAD drawings for roofing, cladding and façade projects
• Preparing material schedules and supporting project delivery
• Attending occasional site visits across the North East and Yorkshire
• Working closely with the design and project teams throughout the project lifecycle
• Office-based role in Durham with an early finish every Friday
