AutoCAD Draughtsman – Job Overview

OA is working with a successful, growing organisation within the roofing industry and is seeking an experienced AutoCAD Draughtsman to support the team. The role involves producing 2D Autodesk drawings for customers, confidently using Autodesk Inventor for designing projects, and creating manufacturing drawings for the fabrication team.

Key Responsibilities

• Producing 2D Autodesk approval drawings for customers
• Drawing details and dimensions according to client specifications
• Designing projects from initial stages to manufacture using Autodesk Inventor
• Creating and converting customer drawings from 2D into 3D models for client approval
• Preparing installation drawings for standard and bespoke products

Skills and Experience

• Previous experience using Autodesk Inventor
• Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D software
• Construction industry experience and knowledge
